I also want to send out a big thank you to everyone who pitched to me. It is true, I received my first elevator pitch from a brave author whom I encouraged to do so. Bravo to all of you who were brave enough to put yourselves out there and present your books~your babies. Many great connections have come out of RWA for me already, and I've offered on more than one book that was pitched to me there. The talent and passion of the writers in attendance blew me away.

RWA Experience
The RWA experience is one you shouldn't miss if you are a romance writer, or a reader of any romance genre. The atmosphere is exhilerating, the workshops are inspiring, and the people are downright amazing. I had a fantastic time, both when I wore my author hat, and when I wore my editor hat. It was a bit chaotic doing both at one conference, but fun, and very much worth it. I've been to many conferences over the years, but this one was different, special. The atmosphere at RWA was more supportive and inspiring than any other I've ever been to. If you haven't attended the big RWA conference yet, you need to treat yourself and do so. The people that put it on are top notch and you can tell they really care about the writers, the readers, and the publishers (both big and small).
